What documents are required as part of registering an apprenticeship program?

The Registered Apprenticeship program is comprised of seven core documents. The National Sponsor will provide review and guidance to employers as you work through each of the following key elements of your program:

  1. National Standards of Apprenticeship
  2. Appendix A – Work Process Schedule & Related Training Instruction
  3. Appendix B – ETA-671 Apprenticeship Agreement
  4. Appendix C – Affirmative Action Plan
  5. Appendix D – Qualifications & Selection Procedures
  6. Appendix E – TIRAP Bylaws
  7. Appendix F – Employer Acceptance Agreement

 

As National Sponsor, WIA will coordinate the following activities with the participating employer:

  1. Registration
    1. Employer’s Program
    2. Employer’s Apprentices
  2. Monitoring
    1. Employer’s Program
    2. Employer’s Apprentices
  3. Reporting
    1. New and existing Programs
    2. New and existing Apprentices
    3. Completed/Graduated Apprentices
