The Fiber Optic Technician (FOT) is a member of a crew performing installation, troubleshooting, termination, splicing, testing, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables of essential telecommunication systems, including personal wireless communications, public safety communications, utility networks, and broadcasting.
