Request for Assistance with Drone Research Survey

There is an ongoing research project at the University of Florida and University of Nebraska-Lincoln to investigate potential applications of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs) for construction safety practices. As a part of this research project, an online survey has been created to target safety managers and ask about their tasks, needs, and requirements for successful implementation of UASs (aka drones, UAVs, or flying machines/cameras) within construction safety applications. The result of this research would help to create a better understanding on the applicability of this emerging technology for safety-related purposes.

This questionnaire would take 10 to 15 minutes and we will appreciate any feedback you provide. In order to take the survey please click here:

All the data we receive will be kept STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL and exclusively for academic purposes.

If you have any questions please contact Dr. Masoud Gheisari (masoud@ufl.edu) or Dr. Behzad Esmaeili (BEsmaeili2@unl.edu).
